Relationships On Knowledge, Attitude, And Behavior To Prevention Of Tuberculosition (Tb) Transmission At Upt Uskesmas Sabbang In 2020

ABSTRACT
Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This disease generally attacks the lungs, but can also affect other parts of the body, such as the glands, lining of the brain, skin, bones and joints. This disease can be transmitted by droplets from the throat and lungs of people with active respiratory disease. This research was conducted at the Upt Puskesmas Sabbang in 2020. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge, attitudes and behavior of patients to the prevention of tuberculosis transmission. This type of research is cross-sectional. The sample in this study were respondents who fit the criteria of inclusion using accidental / convenient sampling method, the number of respondents was 33 samples. The results showed that there is a relationship between knowledge and prevention of transmission of tuberculosis to patients at the UPT Puskesmas Sabbang with a value of p = (0.003) <0.05, there is a relationship between attitude and prevention of transmission of tuberculosis to patients with a value of p = (0.001) <0.05, there is a relationship between behavior and prevention of transmission of tuberculosis to patients with p value = (0.003) <0.05. This study shows a relationship between knowledge, attitudes and behavior towards the prevention of tuberculosis transmission at the UPT Puskesmas Sabbang. From the results of this study, it is hoped that there will be interventions provided by health services to the community in the form of knowledge, especially about tuberculosis
