Abstract

Health services are currently required to provide good services to patients. This requires health services to work hard so that patient satisfaction can be realized. Pontap health center showed a decrease in patient visits. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between competence, ethics, and work discipline of nurses with patient satisfaction at the Pontap Health Center in Palopo City in 2020. The research design used in this study was an analytic survey with cross-sectional approach. The population in this study was 35 nurses. The total sampling technique is a total sampling of 35 nurses. Data collection using questionnaire sheets and data analysis used in this study is univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that there was no relationship between the competency certificate owned by nurses and patient satisfaction, as seen from the p value (0.491). Patient satisfaction is strongly influenced by nurses' ethics at work, this can be seen from the p value (0,000), and there is a relationship between nurse work discipline with patient satisfaction seen from the p value (0.046). It is expected that nurses must be able to implement the knowledge they have learned so that patient satisfaction can be achieved.
