RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN WORKLOAD AND RESPONSIBILITY ON NURSE'S WORK STRESS IN THE EMERGENCY INSTALLATION ROOM AND INSTALLATION CARE UNIT OF THE SAWERIGADING REGIONAL GENERAL HOSPITAL, PALOPO, IN 2022

Work-related stress is the most frekuently reported health problem, as much as 50-60% of all lost workdays are attributed to work-related stress. In connection with this the number of people suffering from stressful conditions caused or exacerbated by work tends to increase. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that cause stress in nurses. This research was conducted at Sawerigading General Hospital, Palopo Pafa City from 10 june to 10 july 2022. The type of research used was descriptive analityc using a cross sectional approach. The population in this study was the total number of nurses in the Intensive care unit and emergency room as many 51 people. The sampling tecnique used is total sampling, so the sample in this syudy amounted to 51 people. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between workload and work stress with p=value 0.000 9<0.05), and there is no relationship between responsibility and work stress with p value= 0.424 (>0.05). The research can be used as evaluation material and input for hospitals management in distributing joblists to nurses by considering the needs and number of patients in order to reduce the work stress of nurses so as to improve the quality of nursing services.
