Knowledge and Attitudes of Pharmachy Students Towards Efforts to Prevent Covid-19 at Stikes Bhakti Pertiwi Luwu Raya Palopo

Abstract

Covid-19 diseases called emerging infectious diseases (EIDs) are of particular concern in public health, besides causing death, they also have major social and economic impacts in today's interconnected world. One of the government's current efforts to suppress the spread of COVID-19 is through the implementation of physical distancing, movement restrictions, the use of masks, quarantine. This study aims to describe the knowledge and attitudes of pharmacy students towards efforts to prevent covid-19 at Stikes Bhakti Pertiwi Luwu Raya Palopo. This study aims to describe the knowledge and attitudes of pharmacy students towards efforts to prevent covid-19 at Stikes Bhakti Pertiwi Luwu Raya Palopo. The type of research  conducted is descriptive research using analytic research design and cross sectonal design. The population  in this study were 307 students of pharmachy Stikes Bhakti Pertiwi Luwu Raya Palopo. while the sample in this study were 75 students of pharmacy students at Stikes Bhakti Pertiwi Luwu Raya Palopo, using simple random sampling. The results in this study are that the pharmacy students at Stikes Bhakti Pertiwi Luwu Raya Palopohave a good level of knowledge as many as 54 people (72%), while those who are classified as sufficient as many as 20 people (27%), and classified as less predicate as many as 1 person (1%). And the research result of respondens who have good attitude are 66 (88%) and have a bad attitude as many as 9 (12 %). The overall conclusion is that the description of the level of knowledge and attitudes of pharmacy students towards COVID-19 prevention efforts is in the good category.
