Hand Sanitizer Gel are preparation used for cleaning or eliminating germs on the hands. Aloe vera contains active substances such as saponins which function as antiseptics. Basil leaves contain chemical compounds such as alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins and tannins which have antibacterial properties. This study aims to determine whether the combination of Aloe vera and Basil leaf extract can be formulated as a hand sanitizer gel. This study used an experimental method, with modification of different formula concentrations, namely F1(5%), F2(10%) and F3(15%). The results of the tests that have been carried out on the three formulas, namely the organoleptic, pH, homogeneity and spreadability test. The hand sanitizer gel preparation for F1 & F2 from a combination of Aloe vera and Basil leaf extract meets the requirements, namely the gel preparation has transparent and clear characteristics. Whereas F3 did not meet the requirements. The results of the physical properties test of the hand sanitizer gel preparations showed that the organoleptic test, pH test, homogeneity test and spreadability test for F1 & F2 showed good results and fulfilled each of the test requirements. Whereas F3 showed poor results so it did not meet the test requirements
