ABSTRACT
Anemia in pregnancy is a condition in which the mother has a hemoglobin level lower than the normal limit which has the potential to increase health risks, even the maternal mortality rate is still quite high. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors of age, parity and gestational age on the incidence of mild anemia in pregnant women. The research design used an analytical survey, a cross-sectional study approach. Subjects were pregnant women with anemia taken by purposive sampling of 32 respondents. The results of the univariate study obtained 25 respondents (78.1%) mild anemia, 7 (21.9%) moderate anemia, age factor 20-35 years 4 respondents (12.4%), age <20 or> 35 years 28 ( 87.5%) of respondents, for parity <3 there were 28 (87.5%), parity >3 (12.5%) respondents, gestational age in the first trimester there were 8 (25%) respondents, 24 (75%) in the second & third trimesters . The results of the chi square statistical test were maternal age (p value = 0.006), parity (p value = 0.0258), and gestational age (p value = 0.026) <a = 0.05, therefore it was concluded that the three factors were maternal age, Parity and gestational age significantly influence the incidence of mild anemia in pregnant women. It is recommended that pregnant women check their pregnancies early and regularly according to standards until delivery
