Factors Related To Exclusive Breast Milk To Working Mothers In Wara Utara District, Palopo City

Breast milk as the best food for the physical, mental and intellectual development of infants has been widely known. However, the reality that we encounter in society is that the number of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia is still low, in Palopo City the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding has decreased in the past year. In December 2017, only 45.1% of working mothers gave exclusive breastfeeding in the Wara Utara sub-district, Palopo City. So the effort that needs to be done is to provide information about the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding for infants aged 7-11 months Objective: This study aims to determine and identify factors related to exclusive breastfeeding for working mothers Methods: This research is a descriptive analytic study with a population of 50 people and a sample of 45 people using accidental sampling technique. Using a questionnaire to determine the level of mother's knowledge, family support, and workplace support. Analysis of the data in this study using the statistical test "Chi Square (X²)" Results: It shows that there are 18 respondents (40%) only give breast milk until the child is 6 months old. While there are 27 respondents (60%) who do not only breastfeed until the baby is 6 months old, the probability value is 0.000 < 0.05 (Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected), this indicates that there is a significant relationship between mother's knowledge, family support, workplace suppor
