Breast milk is the baby's first and main food to meet the needs in early life. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, work, and family support with exclusive breastfeeding for infants aged 6-12 months, using an analytic survey research type with a cross sectional study design. Subjects are mothers who have babies 6-12 months which are taken by purposive sampling. Data was collected through interviews using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire related to research indicators and then analyzed using the chi-square test. The results of the study based on the results of statistical tests on knowledge obtained p value = 0.000, as well as housewives with p = 0.03, and mothers who received family support with p = 0.000 which proved that these three factors were significantly related to breastfeeding. exclusive. It was concluded that sufficient knowledge for mothers and working as housewives without routine additional work, as well as good family support for mothers had a major contribution in the process of exclusive breastfeeding. It is recommended the need for intensive information about breastfeeding, and guidance for mothers who work other than housewives as well as understanding the importance of family support for breastfeeding infants, especially at the age of six to twelve months as the main source of nutrition to meet the growth of babies in their early life.
