Nutritional status is a health status produced by a balance between nutrient requirements and inputs and for the growth and development of toddlers. Factors that influence malnutrition include maternal knowledge, infectious diseases, diet, health services, family economy and number of families. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of knowledge and socioeconomic status to the nutritional status of children under five in the working area of the Bajo Health Center, Bajo District, Luwu Regency in 2022. The research design used in this study is descriptive analytic research with a cross sectional approach which aims to determine the relationship between the independent and dependent variables identified at one time. The sample obtained was 39 respondents using purposive sampling method. Analysis of the data used is univariate and bivariate using the Fisher's Exact Test statistical test. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and nutritional status of children under five (p value = 0.019 < 0.05), there was a relationship between socioeconomic status and nutritional status of children under five (p value = 0.036 < 0.05). The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between knowledge and socioeconomic status of the family on the nutritional status of children under five in the working area of the Bajo Health Center, Bajo District, Luwu Regency. For research sites, it is necessary to optimize health education to mothers, especially those who have children under five
