Evaluation of the Pharmaceutical Preparation Management System at the Suli Barat Health Center, Luwu Regency

Abstract

The pharmaceutical preparation management system at the Puskesmas is a series of activities involving aspects of planning, receiving, procurement, storage, distribution that can ensure the quality and safety of drugs, proper use of drugs, recording and routine reporting. The main problem of this research is how is the pharmaceutical preparation management system at the Suli Barat Health Center, Luwu Regency?. This study aims to determine the management system of pharmaceutical preparations at the Suli Barat Health Center, Luwu Regency. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The samples in this study were the Head of the Health Center, the Pharmacist in Charge of the Pharmacy, and the Pharmacy Staff using quota sampling. Collecting data with interview and documentation techniques, data analysis with data reduction techniques, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the pharmaceutical preparation management system in the work area of ??the West Suli Health Center, Luwu Regency had a maximum implementation, which had been carried out according to Standard Operating Procedures and based on the Ministry of Health regarding Technical Instructions for Pharmaceutical Services at the Health Center in 2019. Where the management of pharmaceutical preparations at the West Suli Health Center had been carried out. by an expert in the field, namely a Pharmacy Technical Personnel or Pharmacist.
