Hubungan Kecanduan Game Online Dengan Tingkat Stres Pada Remaja Di Kelurahan Purangi Kecamatan Sendana Kota Palopo

Abstract

An online game is a game that is played online through an internet network connection and can be accessed by many players with various devices in the form of smartphones that can have a negative impact, including stress. This study aims to analyze the relationship between online game addiction and stress levels in adolescents. Analysis of the data using the Chi square test with a significance level of = (0.05). The results of the analysis of respondent data with the Chi square test found that there was a relationship between online game addiction and stress levels in adolescents in Purangi Village with a p value = (0.033). It is recommended to families, especially parents, to be able to pay attention and control their children in playing online games excessively so they don't fall into online game addiction which can affect their physical and psychological health
