Level of Knowledge, Family Support and Socioeconomic Status Towards the Aplication of Modern Wound Care in Sawerigading Hospital

Abstract

Based on data of 2019 in RSUD Sawerigading City Palopo in get the number of wound acutely and chronic wound patients  of ??300 patients. This research is raining to know the relation of knowledge level, family support and socioeconomic status of patients towards the application of modern wound. This research was conducted in the orchid surgery room RSUD Sawerigading City Palopo Year 2019. This research type is descriptif quantitatif with cross sectional approach. Research sample is patient’s as respondent using purposive sampling method with amount of 35 samples. The results showed that there was relationship between the level of knowledge of the application of modern wound care with a value (p value = 0.001 > 0.005), there was relationship between family support for the application of modern wound care with a value (p value = 0.005 ? 0.005) and relationship between socio-economic status towards the application of modern wound care with a value (p value = 0.000 <  0.005). It is expected that the relevant agencies can improve the quality of services so that in wound care no longer use conventional wound care.
